- The Visual Arts are an important part of the curriculum and are integrated into the program in three different ways. An art class is taught every afternoon. There is instruction given into the skills and methods of art as well as art history and appreciation.
- Art is also integrated into all other academic subjects through our project based approach. Students have time to spontaneously initiate their own art projects and use our studio art space for their own creations. Art is not looked at as a separate and expendable part of the curriculum, but as a vital part of the whole curriculum. As they say in Reggio--it is one of the "hundred languages of children.".
