The Visual Arts at KMS are not looked at as a separate and expendable part of the curriculum but rather as a vital part of the whole curriculum. In the Reggio Emilia Approach, the arts are considered one of the "hundred languages of children."
In the daily afternoon art class students practice skills and methods of art while also learning art history and art appreciation.
